Great idea and practical
The good: these things work on land. My Boston, who is really hyper and likes to run on the cement pool deck, either gets bloody nails or pads every summer. He can't help himself, and it is hard to stop him. We tried other boots and stuff, but they all fall off. These stay on when on land, and he doesn't seem to mind them. Not too difficult to put on after a few goes either.
The not so good: Our Boston is also a swimmer. So, he needs to be able to keep these things on while paddling around. They stay on for about 5 minutes, and then need to be put back on. Not all that fun. We could try the extra smalls, but I feel like they may be too small. Either way, I recommend these over more expensive ones that don't stay on either.

Pawz help infect wounds, not protect them
These "boots" are too tight at the cuff. I bought the largest size, but it is hard to imagine that they aren't cutting off my dog's circulation. Also, they are advertised as being suitable for use in wound protection and preventing "post-surgical infections". I later learned this is not a good idea: Don't keep these boots on indoors, if you use them to protect a wound (even if bandaged). This is for two reasons: (1) Becuause they're rubber, they trap in moisture, which leads to wound maceration, which leads to infection. (2) Because they're balloons, they trap in heat, which raises the localized temperature. Together, the moisture and the heat create ideal conditions for wound infection. So, if you buy Pawz because your dog has a wound, take the boots off indoors and keep them off. 2010-02-21
lifesaving boots
i recently purchased these boots for my laso apso dog sofie,shes one and a half years old and is very active and loves the snow. we noticed she was having a hard time with getting snow stuck in the pads of her feet and you could tell they hurt because she would not be able to walk outside,so i ordered her the medium sized boots. when i first got them i thought these look like balloons there never going to work,but i tried them anyways for my dogs sake and not only do they work but she loves them and they stay on even whem she runs and jumps through the snow, there also great on rainy days they keep her feet dry and clean. sofie loves them so much she doesnt want to take them off. i would recomend people to buy these there great and you can use them over and over,they are alittle hard to get on a dog like mine whos hairy but there so worth it 2010-02-12
Perfect protection from road salt
I was delighted to find this product since my dog suffers terribly from road salt stinging his paws - really pitiful. These boots go on easily and don't seem to bother him at all - he walks and plays completely normally with them on (he refused to walk in any of the other ones I tried). Yes, they are a bit like balloons -- in other words, a rubber pouch with a narrow, elasticized neck. But very thick, sturdy balloons which hold up for multiple walks (I've already used the same ones for six walks on icy, salty streets and no apparent damage to them yet). I'm sold. 2010-01-09

This item works IF you get the right size!!!!! I ordered a medium but the color was blue, not red like I got before and they are tooo big!! This is infuriating because they are "medium" just like I ordered before. I need to send them back but it is SUCH A HASSEL! 2009-12-28

Well I been around here for a while and I found what I needed, but the points this post has touched are really amazing, everyone’s trying to either copy or follow the same thing again and again, and most of the time get really hurtled by this. I think this being the first post to really post something out of the box will really help me and many others. I think trying this is really worth. It will not be wastage of time coz in any case this will never harm our campaigns for good serps.
