I bought this reflective vest for my black Lab. My husband is a runner and frequently jogs with my dog in the early pre-dawn hours. I've bought reflective vests for my husband to wear for his own safety, but he's a hard-head and refuses to wear them. Well if he doesn't put safety first for himself, so be it, but I insist on ensuring my dog's safety. The color is very bright! The vest is IMPOSSIBLE to miss even on the darkest of nights. When headlights shine on it, it glows. Even indirect light from lamp posts make it stand out. It's a nice fit and doesn't move around like others that simply loop around the collar and end up sliding under the dog's belly. It's easy to put on now that I've figured out the secret. My dog gets excited when he knows he's going out and will start wiggling around. There are two velcro closure tabs on the vest that sit on top of the dog's back. I found that if I keep the tab that closes behind the dog's neck secured, I can slide the opening over his head, pull one front leg at a time through the chest opening, then secure the tab that goes around his belly. It's a snap! If I don't, my dog's dancing around and I'm trying to figure out which end of the vest if up! I highly recommend this reflective vest. It's a must-have for any dog owner.

I go running at night with a very energetic 75lb Black Lab/German Shepard mix. We run at night for a couple of reasons, it's a lot cooler at night and therefore easier on him and it also works better with my work schedule. We run for five and a half miles, so we are out for usually for about a hour at night. With his black hair most people and cars do not notice him at all which can be very dangerous.

This reflective vest is highly visible at night, fits him very well and is snug, and does not hinder his running at all. It's lightweight, has secure Velcro straps so it doesn't come lose, and does not chafe him the way a reflective harness probably would. It's also very easy to put on and take off. Car drivers definitely notice both of us us from far away now. I cannot recommend this product enough and it is perfect if you take your dog walking/running at night, especially for dogs with a darker coat.

I know to get the hell out of the way but unfortunately, my dog doesnt. He tends to drift onto the edge of the road sometimes and that can be dangerous at night. This is a nice vest that stays on him well, even if he goes to a full run. My dog is somewhere around 60 pounds and still growing and it fits him fine. Its small money for peace of mind

Purchased this vest for my chocolate lab. He's kinda hard to see when we go walking at night. Bought a different vest for him that wouldn't stay in place...it twisted & moved as we walked which limited its function. Saw this on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to pick one up....couldn't be happier. The vest has large velcro straps which help in putting it on and keeping it in place. This vest doesn't move when the dog walks and boy is it reflective! It lights up like crazy when cars headlights hit it. I feel so much better walking my pooch at night when he's wearing this vest. Pick one up for your doggy, you won't be disappointed!

My lab is about 75lbs and the large vest fits him very well.

Nice vest, once I figured out how to put it on the dog, I learned I bought one too large but my wife fixed it. The size was my fault and was what I ordered.
